TOPTALK | Samir Beharić. Bosnia: Is Republika Srpska’s secession possible?

Bosnia and Herzegovina is facing a political crisis that some fear could lead to a secession little more than 25 years after the Bosnia war ended with the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement. Milorad Dodik, the leader of Bosnia`s Serbs, announced that the country’s Serb-run entity, Republika Srpska, may quit key state institutions to achieve full autonomy within the country, in violation of the 1995 peace accords. Samir Beharić, Research Officer with The Balkan Forum sheds some light on the ongoing crisis.
